Great Week of Jazz

I had a great time this week and felt like a real jazz musician. All in all I had 4 jazz gigs, which for a horn player is a fantastic week. Thursday was very fun. If you weren't there, you can check out the most current rewind to check out a few of the tunes we played. We are figuring out the Zoom recorder and this recording is the best we have gotten so far. :)

Friday and Saturday were also fun. I had a wonderful time making music with Steve. He is a very gifted young bass player and a treat to play with. Lucky me to get to play with him 3 nights in a row.

Shhhhh is a very nice place. Beautiful layout, sounds a little live, but it is a work in progress. They don't have a full menu yet, but are close. It is a very promising establishment and I hope they are successful and continue to be one of the few places that support the arts in Cincinnati, jazz in particular. Please check them out some time and help the revitalization that is going on in the College Hill area.
