Good past weekend of playing my horns.

Today I had a good practice session working on tunes, patterns, etc. My chops felt strong, mostly because I rested them on Sunday. I worked on the flute Sunday. I had two fun gigs at Terry's Turf Club last Friday and Saturday with Eric Campbell, Steve Schmidt, and others. It was intense playing, like a couple of good workouts at a gym. And I am thankful because I felt strong today practicing. I played Soprano sax on Friday and Tenor/Sop. on Saturday. I always feel much better with my playing when I've had the opportunity to "stretch" out my jazz chops. Thanks Eric!
