Trombonist and bandleader Bill Gemmer and his 14-piece Newport Dream Band, in concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12. Gemmer’s band will be joined by blues vocalist Larry Kinley in a program featuring the music made famous by Count Basie.
